A UAE wedding is rarely one event — it's a mehndi, a nikah or ceremony, a reception, sometimes more, each with its own dress code and, often, its own jewellery. That makes bridal jewellery planning here genuinely more complex than a single "wedding day" purchase, and it's one of the least-covered topics on our blog given how much of our high-end work is exactly this. Here's how 2026 brides are actually approaching it.
The 2026 Shift: Why Maximal Is Back

After a few years of minimalist bridal jewellery — single pendants, delicate bands — 2026 has swung back toward fuller, more layered bridal sets: statement necklaces with matching earrings, stacked bangles, and pieces designed to photograph as a complete look rather than individual items. It's a genuine shift in how brides are thinking about jewellery: less "one nice piece," more "a look that holds its own in wedding photography." Our High-End Jewellery collection has grown accordingly — it's where most of this season's set-buying is happening.
Building Your Set Look by Look

Rather than buying one set for the whole event, most of our bridal clients now plan jewellery per ceremony. A mehndi or henna day tends to favour lighter, more playful pieces — layered chains, colourful stones, pieces that move well. The main ceremony calls for the heaviest, most considered set: a statement necklace with matching earrings is the classic anchor, built up or scaled back depending on how much the outfit itself is already doing. A reception look can be simpler and more modern — often just rings and one strong earring, letting the earlier ceremony's set be the memorable one.
What Actually Needs to Match

You don't need every piece to match perfectly — matching necklace and earrings is the one pairing worth getting right, since that's what shows in most photography angles. Bangles and rings have more room to be chosen independently, as long as the metal tone stays consistent across the whole look. If you're combining heirloom pieces with new ones, bringing them in together lets us match tone and finish so nothing looks obviously newer or older than the rest.
Renting vs Buying vs Building a Piece You'll Wear Again

Rental makes sense for a single, very specific statement piece you're unlikely to wear again. But for anything you'd genuinely want to keep — and most brides do, even if only for the sentiment — buying and designing it to be worn down (simpler earrings on their own after the wedding, for instance) tends to be the better long-term decision. It's also worth remembering that everything we make carries our lifetime care and polishing guarantee, so a bridal piece bought today is still being looked after in twenty years, heirloom or not.
Booking It Early
High-end and bridal pieces take longer to plan properly than an everyday order — sizing, custom detailing, and multi-ceremony planning all need lead time. We'd recommend booking an appointment at least six to eight weeks before the first ceremony. You can read what past clients have said about the process on our testimonials page.
Start with the High-End Jewellery collection or message us on WhatsApp to talk through your ceremony schedule and budget — we'll help you plan the whole set, not just one piece. Every order ships free across the UAE, can be split with Tabby or Tamara, and comes with lifetime care and polishing.
